Which lure for grayling?
Grayling rise to small insects, so a dry fly or small nymph is the first choice. Watch for rises before the first cast.

When grayling feed
The grayling season is summer and early autumn in the rivers of Lapland and Kainuu; the spring spawning is closed. The best moments are warm-evening hatches and overcast dry days. In autumn grayling move to deeper pools and take a nymph near the bottom.
How the guide works
Recommendations come from Eräkaveri's fishing guide, which picks lures by species and season. In the app the guide combines with the bite forecast and Where the fish are, which points to the species' depth zone on your water.
Legal minimum sizes, closed seasons and permit areas are always checked from official sources.
