Repovesi

Steep cliffs, a suspension bridge and a maze of waterways — a favourite hiking and paddling destination in southern Finland.

Repovesi

Ketunlenkki, the suspension bridge and Olhavanvuori

Repovesi's best-known trail is Ketunlenkki, a loop of about five kilometres over the Lapinsalmi suspension bridge and Kuutinlahti; the longer Kaakkurin kierros circles the park's waters in around twenty kilometres. Eräkaveri shows the trails with elevation profiles; the rock paths are slippery in rain, and trail weather tells you when the last rain has dried.

Fishing on the park's waters

Repovesi, Kapiavesi and Tervajärvi are Metsähallitus permit areas, and the restrictions layer shows them on the map. The park has no fairways, so there are no depth contours; the bite forecast and water temperature from the nearest SYKE station work. Zander, pike and perch are the usual catch.

Berries on the rocky heaths

The rocky heaths and the fresh hollows between them are bilberry and lingonberry ground; the habitat shading is based on Finnish Forest Centre data.
